Vietnam Economic Highlights: 6 August 2015

August 6, 2015 (Vietnamica) — Daily economic highlights are as follows. * On 4 August 2015, the EU and Vietnam reached an agreement  in principle for a free trade deal. Negotiations for an ambitious and comprehensive FTA were launched in June 2012 with a view to ensuring an effective environment for trade and investment relations (TBTCVN, 4-8). * According to the report of Vietnam economy in the first seven years of 2015 published by National Financial Supervision Commission (NFSC), GDP may grow to reach 6.5% in 2015 (Chính phủ, 5-8). * South Korea’s (more…)
